The Spa

Clean, subtle and inviting, the Ithaafushi Spa stirs away from the expected rustic look of a resort wellness centre and instead adopts a more fresh and experiental approach to the design. The base palette is composed of bagged white walls and flooring, warm teak wood joinery combined with sisal rugs and accessories to add a natural and residential touch to the space; while black bathroom fixtures add contrast against the clean minimal backdrop. The landscaped gardens and pathways follow the same design ethos with manicured plants and sculptural pots. The wellness centre is comprised of an arrival centre, treatment rooms, changing rooms, gym and a signature hammam. Natural light and lush greenery are key features in all the different areas bringing the outdoors in without compromising the guest privacy and comfort.
